By Road. Situated on the junction of the A470/A5 trunk roads, the village has direct access from the North West via the M56 and A55 Expressway. The A5 connects us to the Midlands and the motorways linking North Wales to the South of England. By Train. Eat breakfast in London, have coffee on the train and enjoy lunch in Betws-y-Coed! Did you know that you can be in Betws-y-Coed from London Euston in less than 4 hours? The main line route stops at Llandudno Junction where you then take the scenic Conwy Valley railway or one of the local buses through the Snowdonia National Park to Betws-y-Coed. The station is situated centrally to all village amenities and accommodation. By Sea. Just an hour away from Betws-y-Coed, ferries operate regularly from Dublin & Dun Loughaire to Holyhead in Anglesey. So easy to get around... Heading to Snowdon? The Snowdon Sherpa Bus travels from Betws-y-Coed through the stunning Snowdonia National Park, some routes having open top buses in the summer. Betws-y-Coed is an excellent touring area with mountains, coast, castles & attractions within a 30 mile radius of the village. On your Bike. There are miles of beautiful mountain bike trails connecting local villages. Arrive by train or bus and then cycle your way around the places of interest. These boots were made for walking and from river strolls to forest treks, you needn’t even venture far from Betws-y-Coed for an excellent walking experience.
